- Import from Atticus. Open the backup file Atticus downloads, pick the books you want, and each arrives as a Verkilo book: front matter, chapters and back matter in order, scenes split at their breaks. Anything Verkilo can’t carry over, like endnotes or online images, is listed for you rather than quietly dropped.
- An AI assistant can reorganize your book. Assistants connected to Verkilo, such as Claude, can now move scenes between chapters, set them aside in the Trash, place new ones exactly where they belong, and leave comments in your manuscript for you to review. A change Verkilo can’t make is refused with the reason, never reported as done.
- Covers you’re free to publish. The barcode digits on print covers now use a font that’s free to use and distribute, and About Verkilo lists every font and component inside the app, with its license.
