Verkilo 1.4

The round-trip release: your manuscript can now leave Verkilo and come back.

  • Work with your editor in Word. Export a book to DOCX, send it out, and import the edited copy. Every tracked insertion and deletion becomes a reviewable change in the editor, labeled with your editor’s name, accepted or rejected one at a time. Word manuscripts also import as new books, chapters, formatting and images intact.
  • The Gallery. Every image in your project in one place, searchable, taggable and usable anywhere an image goes.
  • At home on Windows, Mac and Linux. Images, fonts, exports and menus behave the same on all three, including fixes for images not showing and common fonts failing PDF export on Windows.
